4 Teams, 4 Tournaments, 1 Leaderboard

Welcome to the TEAM BATTLE: the first tournament where teamplay is not only allowed, it is actually... recommended. This ain't your regular tournament! 

You will need to have a Discord account and to join our Discord server (both are mandatory) to participate in the Team Battle.

How does this work?

There will be an opt-in phase managed through GiveLab: you will need to fill in  the form with your BetKings nickname, your BetKings email address and your username on our Discord Server.

ATTENTION: failure to provide any of those 3 elements will result in your exclusion from the tournament. ALL GIVELAB FIELDS ARE MANDATORY.


Opt-in was possible from the 19th to the 25th of September. 

After opt-in phase is concluded, we will randomly assign every player to one of the teams: blue, red, yellow, green (if more than 4 tournaments, we will add purple, teal, orange, etc.).

You will be assigned the Discord Role of the same color of your team, and will have access to the team private channel, only visible to you and your teammates.

Each team can have a maximum of 20 members. In case of a very high numbers of opt in, it is possible that further teams will be added.

The 4 Tournaments

There will be 4 Tournaments (in case of high number of opt-ins, further tournaments may be added). Each team can only have a maximum of 5 players per tournament: players will be randomly assigned to the tournaments, so that each team has the same amount of players in each of the tournaments. Those 5 players will be able to communicate in their private Team Battle Channel to maximize their chance of winning their tournament, or to ask advice to teammates willing to help.

Each tournament awards small prizes to the players and, more importantly, they will also award points for the final leaderboard.

Players will play collectively for the final leaderboard prize of T$3000, which will be split collectively among the members of the winning team. (Please note: only the final prize will be split among all winning team members. Single prizes from the tournaments will only be awarded to the players who earned them)

The tournaments will all take place on the 8th of October

When will the prizes be credited?

At the end of the Tournaments, we will add up the points scored by each team and publish the final Leaderboard. Once the winning team has been declared, we will split the final prize equally among all winning team members, and credit it within 4 to 5 working days.

TERMS and CONDITIONS

1) Players must be aged 18 and above to participate in the BetKings Team Battle
2) This BetKings Team Battle will run on October the 8th (may be subject to rescheduling, please check this page and the client regularly for updates). The opt-in phase will run from the 19th (00:01 CET) to the 25th of September (23:59 CET)
3) The Team Battle is reserved for players who have a BetKings account and a Discord account. The Discord account must be in our server. If a player opts in for the promotion with his/her Discord account, but then leaves our server or deletes the account before the Tournament starts, his/her entry to the Team Battle will be cancelled.
4) I - To score points, players need to play the tournament they have been assigned to and finish it in a points-awarding position. II - If a player sits out for most of the tournament, should he score points they will be added to the team total, but that player won't receive his/her share of the prize. His/her share will be forfeited.
5) Overall points will be verified at the end of the tournaments.
6) If a player fails to meet the points-awarding position in its tournament, he won't get any points but can still win a share of the final prize if his/her team ends up winning the final leaderboard, unless he was in sit-out during most of the tournament, as per second part of point 4)
7) An updated leaderboard with the Team Battle points will be published within 48h of the end of the Tournaments.
8) At the end of the Tournaments, if two or more teams are tied in terms of points, the better place will be assigned following this logic: a) Better Place to the team who has the player with the highest position among all the tournaments. If still tied: b) Better place to the team who has more than one player in the highest position among all the tournaments. If still tied or rule B is not applicable: c) Better place to the team who got most highest positions among all the tournaments (example: two teams with a 1st place but only one of them has also a 2nd place. Team with the 2nd place wins). If still tied: d) Better place to the team who got more members to the final table in any of the tournaments. If still tied: e) Better place to the team that won the tournament where it got more players to the final table. f) if still tied: better place to the team which has the member who opted in on GiveLab first for this Tournament.
9) At the end of the Tournament, winner team will be announced in this promotion page as well as on our social pages. 
10) ATTENTION: the winning team will share in equal parts the final prize among all its members (aside from members who incur in point 4) of these terms. The prizes from the single tournaments, however, aren't shared and are only assigned to the single players who earned them.

13) GGPoker standard rules apply.
14) BetKings reserves the right to modify or suspend the promotion at any time.
15) If any players fall under suspicion of fraudulent activity, GGPoker has the right to investigate and remove the players once it’s confirmed.
